New User Meetings

New users to HPC are highly encouraged to sign up for a short, introductory meeting that includes a presentation and discussion about HPC resources and getting started with your research.

In-person meetings for 1-6 participants are available on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 10:00 a.m. at the 3434 S. Grand Building (CAL), room 325. You can easily reach CAL from the University Park campus by taking the Parking Center tram.

NOTE: To facilitate meetings with HSC researchers, we have also scheduled remote meetings on Thursdays from 11:00 a.m.- noon. For information on how to attend a remote meeting, please email

Sign-up is required for all meetings and must be completed by 4:00 p.m. the Thursday before the session you wish to attend. No walk-ins are allowed for meetings at CAL. A valid photo ID is required for check-in when you arrive at the CAL building.


Spring 2017 workshops on the University Park campus will meet on Fridays from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. in Verna and Peter Dauterive Hall (VPD), room 106. To meet the growing needs of researchers on the Health Sciences campus we have scheduled additional workshops at HSC. Workshops on the Health Sciences campus will meet on Wednesdays from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in McKibben Annex (MCA), lecture hall 249.

An active HPC account is required for attendance. Participants are encouraged to bring laptops to participate in the hands-on activities.
